Full Load (FTL) Logistics & Sourcing

How our sourcing, consolidation and cross-docking model moves goods from EU and UK suppliers to your site in complete, scheduled loads.

The Model

What "Full Load" actually means

A Full Truck Load (FTL) is a consignment that occupies an entire vehicle — typically 26 standard UK pallets on a curtain-sided trailer, subject to weight limits and product configuration. The load travels directly from collection point to delivery point without being combined with other customers' freight.

The commercial advantage is straightforward: cost per pallet falls sharply, handling is minimised, transit times are shorter and more predictable, and the risk of damage or mis-delivery associated with groupage networks is largely removed.

We trade on this basis exclusively. Part loads, single pallets and parcel-level supply fall outside our operating model.

STEP 01

Requirement Review

We assess your lines, volumes, frequency and receiving capability, then confirm whether we can improve your landed cost.

STEP 02

Sourcing

Orders are placed with EU producers or UK suppliers, with specification, certification and lead time confirmed in writing.

STEP 03

Cross-Docking

Inbound consignments are received and re-configured into outbound full loads, with minimal storage dwell time and no unnecessary handling.

STEP 04

Delivery

The complete load is despatched to your nominated site within an agreed window, with documentation issued ahead of arrival.

Cross-Border

Importation handled end to end

  • Customs documentation. Commodity classification, import declarations and duty treatment prepared for each consignment.
  • Product compliance. Specification sheets, certificates of analysis and labelling requirements verified before shipment.
  • Transport compliance. ADR requirements observed in full for regulated goods, including food-grade gases.
  • Traceability. Batch and date-code records retained and supplied with delivery paperwork.

Delivery terms are agreed at quotation stage and can be structured on an ex-works, delivered or collected basis depending on your operation.
